櫻山八幡宮（さくらやまはちまんぐう）は、岐阜県高山市にある神社で、飛騨地方の守護神として古くから信仰を集めています。高山祭（春の山王祭・秋の八幡祭）で知られる華麗な屋台が奉納される神社でもあります。秋の高山祭（10月）は特に櫻山八幡宮を中心に行われ、全国から観光客が訪れます。

高山の古い町並みである「さんまち通り」からは、徒歩で約15分ほどの距離にあり、歴史と伝統を感じながら散策するのに最適なルートです。
Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine located in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture. It has long been revered as the guardian shrine of the Hida region. The shrine plays a central role in the famous Takayama Autumn Festival, held in October, featuring elaborately decorated floats (yatai) paraded in honor of the shrine. On the shrine grounds, you’ll find both the Takayama Festival Float Exhibition Hall (Yatai Kaikan) and the Nikkokan, which displays a detailed replica of the famous Nikko Toshogu Shrine. The shrine is about a 15-minute walk from Sanmachi Street, Takayama’s well-preserved historical district, making it an ideal destination to enjoy both scenic strolling and cultural discovery.
