半月山（標高1,753m）は、日光にある中禅寺湖の絶景スポットとして知られています。車で半月山駐車場（標高約1,595m）まで行くことができますが、冬季は道路が閉鎖されるため注意が必要です。駐車場から半月山展望台までは、約30分の登山道が整備されており、歩いて登る必要があります。展望台に到着すると、眼下に中禅寺湖が広がり、四季折々の美しい風景を楽しむことができます。
Mt. Hangetsu (1,753m above sea level) in Nikko is renowned for its breathtaking view of Lake Chuzenji. You can drive up to the Hangetsu Parking Lot (around 1,595m), but please note that the road is closed during the winter season. From the parking lot, it takes about 30 minutes to hike up to the Hangetsu Observatory. Once at the observatory, you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of Lake Chuzenji, which offers stunning scenery in every season.
