深大寺（じんだいじ）は、東京都調布市にある古刹（こさつ）で、天台宗の寺院です。奈良時代の733年に創建されたと伝えられ、都内では浅草寺に次いで2番目に古いお寺として知られています。
境内には緑が多く、四季折々の自然が美しく、特に春の桜や秋の紅葉の時期には多くの参拝者が訪れます。また、深大寺は「深大寺そば」の発祥地としても有名で、周辺には歴史あるそば屋が立ち並んでいます。
本堂には本尊の阿弥陀三尊像が安置されている他、釈迦堂、開山堂、元三大師堂などがあります。厄除けや縁結びのご利益があるとされ、多くの人々に親しまれています。

Jindaiji Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple located in Chofu City, Tokyo. It belongs to the Tendai sect and is said to have been founded in 733 during the Nara period. It is known as the second oldest temple in Tokyo, after Sensoji Temple in Asakusa.
The temple grounds are rich in greenery and offer beautiful scenery throughout the seasons. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom, and in autumn, the leaves turn brilliant colors, attracting many visitors. Jindaiji is also famous as the birthplace of Jindaiji soba (buckwheat noodles), and the area around the temple is lined with traditional soba restaurants.
In addition to the main hall, which houses the principal image of the Amida Triad, the temple grounds also feature several other buildings such as the Shaka Hall, the Founder’s Hall, and the Ganzandaishi Hall. Jindaiji is believed to bring good fortune for warding off evil and for matchmaking, and it is loved by many visitors.
