茨城県高萩市にある花貫渓谷は、花貫川沿いに続く渓谷で、四季折々の自然が楽しめる人気の景勝地です。特に秋の紅葉は見事で、モミジやカエデが渓谷一帯を鮮やかな赤や黄色に染め上げます。
渓谷のハイライトは、花貫川に架かる「汐見滝吊り橋（しおみだき つりばし）」です。吊り橋の上からは、渓流と紅葉の美しいコントラストを望むことができ、多くの写真愛好家が訪れます。
遊歩道は整備されており、渓谷沿いの散策をゆっくり楽しめるのも魅力です。紅葉の見頃は例年11月中旬から下旬頃です。

Hananuki Gorge is a scenic valley located in Takahagi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, stretching along the Hananuki River. The area is known for its beautiful natural scenery throughout the year, but it becomes especially stunning in autumn. The maple trees turn vibrant shades of red and yellow, coloring the entire gorge.
One of the highlights is the Shiomidaki Suspension Bridge, which crosses the Hananuki River. From the bridge, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the flowing river framed by colorful autumn leaves—a favorite spot for photographers.
The walking trails are well maintained, offering a pleasant stroll along the valley. The autumn foliage usually reaches its peak from mid- to late November.
