千里浜（ちりはま）は、石川県羽咋市千里浜町（はくいしちりはまちょう）から宝達志水町今浜（ほうだつしみずちょういまはま）にかけて約8kmにわたって続く海岸で、日本で唯一、車で走行できる砂浜（千里浜なぎさドライブウェイ）として知られています。
砂の粒が非常に細かく、水分を含むと固く締まるため、普通の車でも走行が可能です。観光客は車やバイクで海岸線をドライブしたり、夕日を眺めたり、浜辺で貝殻を拾ったりして楽しみます。
なお、天候や波の状況によって通行規制がかかることがあります。通行前に、下記の石川県道路情報のページで「千里浜なぎさドライブウェイ 規制なし」と表示されていることを確認することをおすすめします。

千里浜は夏には多くの観光客で賑わい、「日本の渚百選」にも選ばれています。
Chirihama Beach stretches, Chirihama Nagisa Driveway, for about 8 kilometers from Chirihama Town in Hakui City to Imahama in Hodatsushimizu Town, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is the only beach in Japan where cars can drive directly on the sand.
The sand particles are extremely fine and become compacted when wet, making the surface firm enough for ordinary vehicles. Visitors enjoy driving or motorcycling along the shoreline, watching beautiful sunsets, or collecting seashells.
Please note that driving may be restricted depending on weather and wave conditions. Before visiting, it is recommended to check the Ishikawa Prefectural Road Information website and make sure it shows:
