唐桑半島（からくわはんとう）は、宮城県気仙沼市にある半島で、リアス式海岸の美しい景色が広がります。花崗岩や大理石の岩がつくる荒々しい海岸線が特徴で、「折石（おれいし）」という津波で折れた高さ16mの石柱など、自然の迫力を感じられる名所があります。
また、2011年の津波で打ち上げられた「津波石」や、海の安全と豊漁を祈る大崎神社など、歴史や文化を感じられる場所もあります。
半島を歩くトレッキングコース「宮城オルレ 唐桑コース」や、「みちのく潮風トレイル 唐桑半島セクションハイク」のようなガイド付きツアーもあり、約2～10kmの道（ツアーにより長さは異なります）を景色や文化を楽しみながら歩くことができます。
Karakuwa Peninsula in Kesennuma, Miyagi, is famous for its dramatic ria coastline. The rugged shorelines of granite and marble create impressive scenery, with highlights such as Oreishi, a 16-meter stone pillar broken by a tsunami.
Visitors can also see the giant Tsunami Stones lifted by the 2011 disaster and visit Ōsaki Shrine, where locals have long prayed for safe voyages and good catches.
The peninsula offers walking trails like the Miyagi Olle Karakuwa Course and guided tours such as the Michinoku Coastal Trail Karakuwa Section Hike, where you can enjoy routes of about 2 to 10 km (depending on the tour) while experiencing nature and local culture.
